The one-handed, Z-shape fold is a breeze and is extremely compact once you get the hang of it and takes minutes to fold. However our tester found the auto lock to be a bit confusing and as the handlebar wasn't locked into position when you press it, it hit her legs when she used it. She also felt the handlebar was a little on the short side particularly with a large changing bag hanging from it.

This double stroller isn't as lightweight as other travel buggies. It has a full range of features, and is one the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately), has multiple recline positions and an UV 50+ canopy. You can also add the bassinet to one or both seats to make this a travel system.
The four composite wheels made of rubber are perfect for pavements and urban terrain however, they're not designed for off-roading. They struggled on long grass and gravel and there's not much clearance between the wheel and bracket so mud got stuck easily. Our testers loved this buggy and was able to climb beautiful muddy hills.

It's a heavier tandem buggy however it's extremely easy to use and steer, particularly on smooth roads. It is stable in both single and double mode and even on sloping ground. It's not as easy to use on public transport as it requires two hands on the handlebar. It's also quite bulky and can't be stuffed into the standard car boot for families with the seat attached but this is a problem that can be overcome by thoughtful planning. iCandy has included an infant footmuff and a changing bag in the price, making this an excellent value package for parents who are just starting out.

This is a tandem stroller that's ultra-lightweight. It comes with two seats that are not reversible that are ideal for children aged from birth to around 3 years old, and it can accommodate a car seat in the rear.
It features a simple and easy to fold mechanism that makes it ideal to travel with and store. It also comes with a large basket, perfect to store all of your baby's and toddler's essentials.
The Joie Evalite Duo is a great double buggy for beginners because it is a great value for money and is easy to maneuver. It is also extremely lightweight and makes it easier to push over long distances. It also has a premium suspension system that ensures a smooth ride, for both kids and parents.
This is an elegant and practical city buggy that is suitable for twins, a baby and a toddler or even three kids with the addition of UPPAbaby's "PiggyBack board (sold separately). Our test participants found that the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to manoeuvre, even when taking on uneven ground or when turning swiftly in a busy street. The fact that the seats can be reclined independently was also an enormous hit.
The hoods were also easy to adjust for sun or wind protection. They did not offer the same coverage as Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It's probably worth carrying an extra rain cover inside the case.
Overall, our testers loved the way that the Nipper Double allowed them to take their twins Sydney and Lyla on a variety of adventures, from spotting wildlife in the woods, to rushing to the park for a quick playdate. The testers were also awed with how spacious and comfortable the two seats are. There is plenty of room for toddlers who are growing. The lack of parent facing seating and the inability of using a car seats with this buggy were noted as a problem by our test participants. They would have also liked to see a larger storage area for shopping and other equipment.
